This is a slideshow that is sort of from the point of view of my much younger cat, Macintosh. Mac is getting close to two years old now, and not long after we brought him home when he was a kitten, I remember how he loved Mocha like an older brother... and for a while, Mocha always thought Mac was a little brat! (The first few days he was a bit shy, then Mocha taught him how to hiss.) But the two became close friends until Mocha's life ended on August 4th due to a heart condition. It was a heartbreaking loss to everyone, and everyone was Mocha's friend (any human he met he would instantly warm up to). My mom told me that after Mocha died, she put his collar on the dresser in her bedroom. Mac found it and paused for a while to sniff it before laying down near by it with his head next to his paws; his face actually expressed sadness.
