Chapter 11 Family portrait Normal POV It had been a week and they still hadnt heard a word. Joe and Codie werent sure what to do with the evidence or how to catch David, but they were working on it. The kids finally went back to school. Kevin drove Codie and Joe and then took Frankie to his school. When Codie and Joe walked inside things seemed the same but they could it wasnt. Joe went to his first class while Codie went to hers. Codie sat in the back of the class so she wouldnt have the sensation that everyone was looking at her. Tatiana: Hey Codie Codie: *Smiles* Hey. Tatiana: Im sorry about everything. I mean its awful. Codie: I know. Hey T do you think that I could stay over this weekend? I need to get out of the house for a little while. You know with everything going on. Tatiana: Sure. Ill let my parents know and then call you. Codie smiled to herself. She could care less about getting out of the house. She was really wanting to go to Tatianas house because her dad was a cop. He had all the equipment needed to bust David. It wouldnt be stealing only borrowing without telling.
