A friend trapped 3 wild kittens that were around 6 to 8 weeks old, she kept one and I took the other two. They lived in the bathroom for a couple weeks, the dresser drawer in our bedroom for a couple weeks, the bedroom closet for a while and then moved to the rest of the house with us.
