Chapter 23 - My Beautiful Rescue - A Jonas Brothers Story A new chapter!! This may be the quickest I've ever updated... But I just HAD to write this chapter. I think this is my favorite chapter ever :] I loved writing it! And I hope you love it too! Ahhh!! :]:] Enjoy! ---------------------- (Kayla's Point Of View) I was completely exhausted and drained after I had gotten home from the bowling alley with my two best friends, the Jonas Brothers, and Rachel. The first thing I did as I walked into my house was run upstairs into my bedroom, close the door and lay down on my bed. I grabbed my iPod and placed the headphones in my ears, repeatedly listening to Nick's voice over and over again. It was soothing and comforting- it almost felt like he was there next to me. I was still in shock at what he had said to me while we were eating lunch. Every time I thought about the way he lightly touched my hand, looked me straight in the eyes, and told me I was beautiful, the butterflies returned and my cheeks began to heat up. Honestly, I had never felt this way about any guy before- it was all new to me. All of the guys I had ever liked never had the ability to make me so genuinely happy- even my mom noticed my change in attitude. Just thinking about Nick brought a smile to my face... it was as if a switch went off whenever I said his name. A huge, goofy grin was just permanently spread across my face. I didn't know if I was in love... I mean, that's a pretty strong word to use. But ...
