My Louis XIV style bedroom inspired by a trip to Rome, Venice, and Florence, Italy and the opulent palazzos these beautiful cities have to offer. The framed painting above my dresser is the inspiration piece pulling the whole room together and is juxtaposed with the 4x6 foot canvas scroll oil painting behind my bed, titled "Living Room." My newly remodeled lavatory was inspired by transitional and contemporary penthouse lofts and stately, yet modern, townhouses in NYC and Chicago neighborhoods such as Gramercy Park, Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, Tribeca, and SoHo.
